AMMRF - Linked Centres

Linked Centres

A Linked Centre is established in conjunction with a concentration of specialist users based at a major research centre at a publicly funded institution, for example an ARC Centre of Excellence node or a CRC node.

A Centre Microscopist provides expertise and advice to assist the Linked Centre’s researchers to undertake high-level microscopy- and microanalysis-dependent research at the local AMMRF node (or, if necessary, at another node across the country). This person is an experienced microscopist who is able to best advise researchers from the Centre on the most appropriate techniques and facilities to solve the users’ research problems.
