MyScope™ Outreach now live!

Zoom into the micro-world and see what you can discover! The AMMRF presents MyScope™ Outreach, an e-learning resource for ages 8 years and upwards, that’s freely available to all. The expertise of the AMMRF and our corporate partner FEI comes together in this interactive, virtual microscopy experience. The site includes hands-on activities and provides an array of samples to explore, from everyday bugs and objects to forensic evidence.

Developed in consultation with science educators in Australia and beyond, MyScope Outreach went live in April at the USA Science & Engineering Festival in Washington DC. Students were excited to explore the world at the micro- and nanometer scale with the Scanning Electron Microscope Simulator. We will continue to promote this innovative STEM resource throughout 2016, bringing the thrill of science and discovery to Australia’s future scientists. Check it out: myscopeoutreach.org
